No Chance

Tell me the truth, where have you wandered?

If you asked me, I would tell you.

Who has your heart now?

I swear to you that I would never hide.

If you know, you made me then,

You always thought you would have me.

I would never be a coward either,

But we don’t believe you, you have to know that.

I’m happy to be alone now,

I don’t even care if you exist.

You have now gambled away your chances,

You won’t win my heart anymore.

And now you wander the deserted streets.

The roads are muddy, prepare well.

You will trample them for a long time, however you like,

I’m really begging you, don’t come back to me.

I will watch you always admire you,

There is no way I feel sorry for you anymore.

I will never regret the losers,

You have gambled away my trust.

Poet: Derviša Grabus Čolaković was born in 1957. in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He currently lives and works in Washington, USA.

He is a member of the World Literary Academy. She is the winner of the Golden Certificate. She is one of the authors in the Encyclopedia

“Best World Poets”. She is included in several Anthologies and collections, for which it is a great honor to be found in Anthology 10001 by the respected poet Abdullah Gasmi.
