শাহ আব্দুল মোহিইমিন কামালীর জন্ম ১৯৯৮ সালে পূর্ব লন্ডনের টাওয়ার হ্যামলেটস এর ষ্টেপনীগ্রীন এলাকায়। এক বোন এবং তিন ভাইয়ের মধ্যে মোহামিন তৃতীয়। তিনি হ্যালী প্রাইমারী স্কুল থেকে প্রাথমিক এবং ষ্টেপনীগ্রীন মেধস-কম্পিউটিং এন্ড সাইন্স স্কুল এবং কলেজ থেকে কয়েকটি বিষয়ে ষ্টার মার্কসহ জিসিএসই এসই এবং এ-লেভেল সমাপ্ত করে ইউনিভারসিটি অব লন্ডন সিটি থেকে বিএসসি অনার্স ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর উপর ডিগ্রি নেন। বর্তমানে একটি প্রাইভেট কোম্পেনীতে কর্মরত। তার পৈতৃক নিবাস বৃহত্তর সিলেটর সুনামগঞ্জ জেলার জগন্নাথপুর উপজেলার সৈয়দপুর শাহারপাড়া ইউনিয়নের শাহারপাড়া কামাল শাহ মৌজার খাদিম বাড়ীতে। তাদের পূর্বপুরুষ ৩৬০ আউলিয়ার অন্যতম সঙ্গী হযরত শাহ কামাল (রঃ)। এই পরিবারটি বংশানুক্রমিক ভাবে হযরত শাহ কামাল (রঃ) মাজারের এর খাদিম হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করে আসছেন। তার পিতামহ শাহ আব্দুল জব্বার কামালী ছিলেন একজন সাধক পুরুষ এবং সেইসময়কার সরপঞ্জ সহকারী (বর্তমানে এই পদটি ইউপি সদস্য পদমর্যাদার)।

পিতা শাহ আতিকুল হক কামালী একজন শিক্ষক, লেখক ও আবৃত্তিকার এবং একজন সমাজ হিতৈষী মানুষ, তিনি সিলেট থেকে প্রকাশিত সিলেট বিচিত্রার সহকারী সম্পাদক ও লন্ডন থেকে প্রকাশিত ‘যুক্তরাজ্যে সিলেটবাসী’ গ্রন্থের প্রকাশক। মাতা: শাহ লুৎফা বেগম কামালী ইষ্টলন্ডনের বেনজন্সন প্রামারী স্কুলে কর্মরত।

 Although Shah Abdul Mohaimin Kamali is a British citizen, he is a Bangladeshi by birth and his village home is Shahar Para village of Syedpur Shaharpara Union of Jagannathpur Upazila under Sunamganj District of Bangladesh.

Genealogy:

 Shah Abdul Moheemin Kamali was born in 1998 in Stepney Green, Tower Hamlets, East London. Mohamin is the third among one sister and three brothers. He completed GCSE SE and A-levels with star marks in a few subjects from Halley Primary School and Stepneygreen Medhas-Computing and Science School and College and graduated with a BSc Honors Engineering degree from the City University of London. Currently working in a private company. His ancestral residence is Khadim Bari of Shaharpara Kamal Shah Mouja of Syedpur Shaharpara Union of Jagannathpur Upazila of Greater Sileter Sunamganj District. Hazrat Shah Kamal (RA) was one of the companions of their ancestor 360 Auliya. This family has been serving as Khadim of the shrine of Hazrat Shah Kamal (RA) in a hereditary manner. His grandfather Shah Abdul Jabbar Kamali was a saintly man and Sarpanj Assistant at the time (now a post of UP member rank).

 Father Shah Atiqul Haque Kamali is a teacher, writer and reciter and a social philanthropist, he is the assistant editor of Sylhet Bichitra published from Sylhet and publisher of ‘Yuktarajye Sylhetvasi’ published from London. Mother: Shah Lutfa Begum Kamali works in Johnson’s Primary School, London.
