জামালপুর সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে আজ অত্র গ্রামের লণ্ডন প্রবাসীদের অর্থায়নে স্কুল ড্রেস বিতরণ করা হয়।

আমাদের স্থানীয় প্রতিনিধি জানান অত্র গ্রামের লণ্ডন প্রবাসী: সর্বজনাব:

মোঃ রুপা খাঁন মোঃ গোলাম রব্বানী, মোঃ টিপু সুলতান আহাদ, মোঃ রাজিব খাঁন, মোঃ মাছুম আহমদ।

এই পোশাক বিতরণে অর্থ দান করে।

আজ এক অনুষ্ঠানের মধ্য দিয়ে এই বিতরনী অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। স্কুলম্যানিজিং কমিটির সভাপতির সভাপতিত্বে ও সহকারী শিক্ষক জনাব আব্দুস সবুর সাহেবের উপস্থাপনায়,উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে:

স্কুলের প্রধান শিক্ষক অসীমা রাণী ধর, সহকারী শিক্ষক, মোঃ আবুল বাহার, মোঃ মিলাদ মিয়াও স্থানীয় মুরুব্বিয়ান,সহ রাজনৈতিক ব্যক্তিবর্গ উপস্থিত ছিলেন ও অনেকেই বক্তব্য রাখেন।

পোশাক দাতাদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন লণ্ডন প্রবাসী জনাব: টিপু সুলতান আহাদ, তিনি তাঁর বক্তব্যে বলেন: আজকের শিশুরাই আমাদের আগামীর আশা আকাঙ্ক্ষা পুরণের প্রজন্ম। তাঁদের সুশিক্ষায় শিক্ষিত করতেই আমাদের যথা সর্বস্ব বিনিয়োগ করতে হবে।

তিনি আরো জানান প্রতিবছর আমাদের এই পোশাক বিতরণ অব্যাহত থাকবে।

এবং পঞ্চম শ্রেণীর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের আমরা স্কুলের শিক্ষকদের তত্ত্বাবধানে প্রতিবছর শিক্ষা সফরে পাঠাতে অর্থায়ন করবো।

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বক্তব্য রাখেন হাজী সোহেল আহমদ খান টুনু, ও গ্রামের অন্যান্য মুরুব্বি তাঁদের বক্তব্য স্কুল ও গ্রামের উন্নয়নে গ্রামবাসীর ঐক্যের উপরে জোর দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করেন।

প্রবাসী মোঃ রিজু সুলতান ঘোষণা করেন: তিনি তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে, আগামী বছর পরীক্ষায় সর্বোচ্চ ভালো ফলাফলকারী ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে একটি প্রণোদনা অর্থ প্রদান করবেন।

(Distribution of school dress in Jamalpur Government Primary School)

School dresses were distributed among the students of Jamalpur Government Primary School today, funded by the London expatriates of the village.

Our local representative told the London resident of the village:

Md. Rupa Khan Md. Golam Rabbani, Md. Tipu Sultan Ahad, Md. Rajib Khan, Md. Machum Ahmad.

This donates money to clothing distribution.

The distribution was held today through a ceremony. Presided over by the President of the School Managing Committee and presented by Mr. Abdus Sabur, Assistant Teacher, in the said event:

Principal of the school Asima Rani Dhar, assistant teacher, Md. Abul Bahar, Md. Milad Mia and local Murubbian, political personalities were present and many spoke.

Mr. Tipu Sultan Ahad, an expatriate from London, was present among the clothing donors. We have to invest everything to educate them in good education.

He also said that we will continue to distribute these clothes every year.

And we will fund fifth grade students on educational trips every year under the supervision of school teachers.

Haji Sohail Ahmad Khan Tunu gave an important speech, and other elders of the village drew attention to the unity of the villagers in the development of the school and the village.

Expatriate Md. Riju Sultan announced: He, on his part, will give an incentive payment to the students who perform the highest in the examination next year.
