শুভ নববর্ষ-১৪৩১ বাংলা!

নিশি অবসান প্রায় ওই পুরাতন বর্ষ হয় গত

আমি আজি ধূলিতলে এ জীর্ণ জীবন করিলাম নত!

বন্ধু হও শত্রু হও যেখানে যে কেহ রও,

ক্ষমা করো আজিকার মত 

পুরাতন অপরাধ যত!

চৈত্রের সন্ধ্যায় ১৪৩০ বাংলার বিদায়ী সুর্যাস্ত আর রাত: ১২ টার পর বাংলা সনের ক্যালেণ্ডারে সূচিত হয় পয়লা বৈশাখ। ১৪৩১ বাংলা সনের শুভ সূচনা বাঙালি সংস্কৃতির চিরায়ত রূপে সেজে বাঙালির জীবনে উপস্থিত।

বসন্তের শেষে গ্রীষ্মের আগমন, রুদ্ররূপী বৈশাখ সকল জরাজীর্ণতা উড়িয়ে গুড়িয়ে দিয়ে অগ্নিস্নানে সূচিশুদ্ধ করে বাঙলার প্রকৃতিতে এনে দেয় প্রাণের চাঞ্চল্য।

পুরনো দেনা পাওনার হিসেব নিকেশ চুকিয়ে খোলা হয় নতুন হালখাতা।

আমরা এই শুভক্ষণে সবাইকে আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা জানাই, আগামী বছর সকলের জন্য শুভ ও সুন্দর হোক কল্যানময় হোক বাঙালি সংস্কৃতি ও সমাজের উন্নয়ন হোক।
