Waiting

You have left for the unknown,

Yet I wait alone, forlorn.

Wait for you to come back,

Come back and say ‘I love you’

I hear your voice whispering in my ears,

I am always near you my dear.

Your voice comes through the rustling leaves,

Flowing through the gentle breeze;

Crashing through the lightning so loud,

Moving strongly with the thunderous clouds;

In the cold wintry nights,

I see you floating lazily in the mist,

 wet soft moist leaves in sight;

In the sultry summer nights,

I see you dancing among the sparkling starry lights;

Your presence in the beautiful spring I smell,

In the fragrance of the colorful flowers you dwell.

Your presence in nature is all around,

My love for you knows no bounds.

Won’t you come?

Live Life to Liveâ€Ļ..

Stars do shine in the vast night sky.

Lonely without the moon or sun, they sigh;

Sun’s rays keep the moon shining so bright.

Flowers bloom in garden, fragrance aplenty.

Fragrance makes the garden a beauty;

Gardener nourishes these flowers timely.

If sky is there, there will be clouds.

Clouds make the rain pour and sound;

Droplets of rain ornament the earth’s ground.

Raindrops and sorrows pile up eyes.

 Spread through lips adorning face is a smile;

Sorrows and happiness dwell side by side.

Hide tears behind smiles.

Each soul must themselves decide;

Live life in zest and with pride.

If there is a road, there is a traveler.

Travellers all, death is a great leveler;

Destination awaits the worldly passenger.

Things exist, complement each other,

Hang on the rope, each a balancer.

Endless Love

Beneath the cherry blossom tree stands she,

Her bright eyes shining like stars in the sea.

Pink fairies dancing in the gentle breeze,

Fluttering heartbeat as the maiden nervously breathes;

She waits for her lover this time, every year.

Last time she didn’t meet him, out of fear.

Suddenly time stopped as letters stopped to appear;

She waited still for her lover to reappear.

Today as she stands with freckled wrinkled cheeks,

The day seems darker and very bleak;

Stormy winds and high rising tide of the sea at its peak,

Snow white hair blows past the winds, she starts to speak.

She smiles as the shadow sways on the waves;

Hands lifted she advances to embraceâ€Ļ..
