Bimba and Lola
Ileana Pascu
 Moreni – Romania
A surprise invitation, determinedÂ
He clings to my arm
Since the night, she had attracted me persistently
Partaker on his way
On the banks of Valencia
We tied the knot in our friendship
Enjoying the wavesÂ
Accompanying us is harmony
Â
Under the song of seagullsÂ
In rags of laughter and sunshineÂ
With the early morning dawn
In the foam of the Mediterranean Sea
Rolling on the waves
Among the fish and jellyfish
Glances into the water fall on the treesÂ
A ring, surrounded by sand
Â
It’s the memory of summer evenings
Moments spent togetherÂ
It’s smile, cheerfulness and lightÂ
In the time to come.
2.
Teacher, then and now
You child angels you once wereÂ
Come to the scheduled appointment
Trying the one who taught you
Keep the road straight with your head down
Â
To gain the power to be HUMAN
The confidence and wisdom of being LORD
Under their eyes we grow up a little
Echoes resounding in the soul of the strong
Â
New little innovators of hieroglyphs
When I was starting to learn the alphabet
And the LADY – “the giant from the stories”
Gentle pleasure, you couldn’t help but love her
Â
Today we reversed the roles
From the little children I once was
We grew up and forgot about toysÂ
We are parents, grandparents and we have children
Â
And our beautiful LadyÂ
He looked up to look at usÂ
She remained small among us
Those of us who were HIS STUDENTS
Â
It has its place in our hearts
We always respect and cherish them
Whatever we do in life, wherever we step
We fondly remember the first years of school
3.
There is one autumn in the year
In passing, the leaf gathers from the tree
He pales it slightly, detaches it in the windÂ
The forest rusts, under the gaze of man
Nature undresses, weaving, a carpet on the groundÂ
Â
The white silken foam, the mist, shadows hovering
Passing over the waters, over the leafless treesÂ
Over valleys, high hills…
And the gray mountains…
Â
The wind plays through the autumn leaves
The melody, giving it to time
The colorful dress worn by the Lady
What walks barefoot, waltzing over the hills
Â
Dressed in gusts of wind, branches caught in the thicket
A long, sizzling train with gold-turquoise highlightsÂ
With the leaves of the copper – khaki, in the braids of hairÂ
Looking through brown eyes, embroidering with frost, the proud plai
Â
Nature made you red and you look so tired
In ferric rust, with many fruits smotheredÂ
Romances in the wind, through wandering branchesÂ
You shake the forest with leaves, you roar through the valleys coming
Â
Train rustling on the roads, from your ball gownÂ
Behind leaving smoke, you, your steps are measured
Don’t run fast, stay and rest
Take the must and taste it, it spoils you royally.
As soon as clouds gather, snow pours from the skyÂ
And put frost in your braids…Wait, dear autumn!
