 BOOK-REVIEW
Maria-Camelia Voicu, the novel-book of personal development Why are you so mean to me?!”
Life as a show… Author of the review:

The Man, the rational being who often defines the course of things…. but if he goes too much against nature, then nature takes revenge: wars, natural calamities, incurable diseases, etc.
The novel, Mariei-Camelia Voicu. Why are you so mean to me?”- an autobiographical, social psychological novel, having the theme of adolescence that generates a multitude of questions-answers, crazy ideas, vis-Ã -vis life. The national system, face to face with the author, the school and the practical objectives, the struggle of the adolescent personality with the standards proposed by the school environment, the social-human environment, the demands outside the school and the family, maintaining a healthy intellectual balance in the patterns of humanism called – Life.
Or’, life is a complexity of emotions: feelings, qualities, capacities, attitudes, skills, human laws… The discovery of the inner Self:
Â
“so I had time to figure out who I am, I focused more on what I really like to do and I gave up being that school puppet, manipulated by a teacher’s foke smile, who tells you how you’re mediocre if you don’t stop taking 10 wholesale notes” – mentions the author, and rightly so, she will succeed in life. Such people develop the qualities necessary for success, knowing: “Who they are and what they want from life!” Often those with a vertical string of 10’s get lost in the world created by society….
“When you stop exhausting yourself with learning, when you start to see the true face of the education system, when you realize that none of the “good advice” from teachers is intended to help you with anything, well, then you, you become the problem says the author in the book, in her teenage novel, but interspersed with many truths that emerge from the natural course of life. I am delighted by her way of thinking and approaching things, I think that each of us finds ourselves in one of
the pages of the novel of an intelligent teenager, a little disappointed in life, but who has the courage to call things by their name and to find the only way it sets her apart from the crowd, standing out.
I am glad that this posting is The way of light and the word, the way of questions and… self-confidence”. The more I read, I discover a soul longing for truth that wants to enlighten; a strong character that was overwhelmed by the hatred of those around an intellect that will always be looking for answers.
Maybe, sometimes he overdoes with:
“however, imagine being hated by an entire school” and by people “I don’t even know, the author says The age of adolescence is a white sheet or a white screen of the subconscious, where some are projected: fears, obstacles, attitudes: pros and cons or rather, it opens the doors to new horizons of personal development.. with the impetus:
“Because I know, deep down that they admire me and wish they had the courage to do what I do.”
Apart from the fight for freedom of thought, the author also addresses the following
themes: bullying in the school; the relationship: parents-children, teachers-students,
teenagers-society, the courage to see the world with different eyes, getting out of the usual patterns standards… Finding positive charging solutions: music, reading, writing, positive thinking, sports are hobbies which temporarily flattens the soul voids produced by the demands of society… The tense atmosphere in the school during the pandemic has created a series of controversies in the minds of all students “online school”, being a flow of “mud-throwing”, indifference and negativism.
Coherent, flexible, rich language defines a well-read, intelligent, free-thinking teenager with a desire to stand out, connecting to the like interests and intellects that fill your everyday life.
Do people need to be criticized or understood? – I will ask the author and the following writings will address some topics seen with different eyes! The given book is a definition of reality, carefully laying out the answers of adolescence:
Chapters 1 and 2 describe the experiences and give answers, vis-a-vis school life, friends, perceived by the teenager Maria-Camelia Voicu.
Chapter 3 is a summary of family, parents, perspectives of continuous change on life: the parenting lessons given by the 15-year-old
Chapter 4 is an expression-answer, very daring, regarding “the limits and prejudices.
of doing the things we want to do” and the answers-analysis to the question: “What the world’s gonna say?”, which sometimes define the purpose and your role in society.
Â
Chapter 5, a bit of politics and the generalization of some own ideas towards society and the country; love and filling the mind with all kinds of movies and books, led to the creation of a book with a teenage character that is easy to read and contains useful answers.
Â
Chapter 6, the metamorphosis of family violence and its consequences for the adaptation of adolescents in society.
Â
Chapter 7, the author’s opinion about nature, appearance, tastes, various life situations and affirmation as a person, understanding who your friends or (un)friends are, through the similarities between your life and theirs, knowing yourself…
Â
Chapter 8 addresses the stereotypes of society at an international level, based on style, race, religion…, being for a teenage girl a natural phenomenon to analyze.
Â
Chapter 9. “the idea of what seems to me to be totally lacking in education in the society of my country and society in general, would also be the problem of racism, the author concludes. Thus, “there are things that stick to the culture of each country or the culture of each religion, which signify history and traditions, respecting people as they are.
Â
Chapter 10, deals with the disgusting things that society does in the world, the fight for Human Rights
Â
Chapter 11, Romania viewed through the eyes of a teenage girl and how she approaches society’s problems at this age.
Â
In conclusion: “Why are you being so mean to me?!” is the rendering of the inner turmoil of an educated, intelligent, modern teenage girl who easily adapts to the changes of life and the world, a book of personal development with positive-critical motivation, addressing various topics of discussion regarding, listening to the international media, and so on.
The multitude of ideas addressed gives an immediate quality to the developed, mature thinking of Maria-Camelia Voicu, through the complexity and essential components of this diverse complex subject of philosophical and moral meditation, thus offering us, for knowledge, an important facet of her personality. Proclaiming the precarious and entirely illusory character of “this world the young writer answers.
Not! to former glories, ground in the insensible waltzes of time, but to moments, just as fleeting, of illusory and fleeting soul satisfaction and contentment.
This way of approaching life denotes a moral mind, open to light, knowledge, generalizing the reflexes and moral trajectories of any time and human education; mastering the science of argumentation and generalization, communicating with the world through real connection and personal way of seeing things.
The gates of knowledge are wide open for such sources waiting to be developed into individualizing and defining constructions, elements subject to convergent exegesis towards “conclusions” that are meant to sublimate into “moral learning”.
