Together with the great Palestinian poet MunirMezyed, residing in Romania, she launched an international project called “Art and Poetry.”
Silla maintains numerous international relationships and collaborations, recognizing in art the value of Peace and Brotherhood among peoples. Her many personal and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally, have gained her significant recognition. Her works can be found in art books, catalogs, and numerous publications. Her art is showcased in Modern Art Galleries, national and international Museums, and various public and private institutions.
Regarding her literary works, Silla Campanini’s lyrical and poetic prose are included in various anthologies, translated into multiple languages, and published in numerous editorials worldwide. In 2024, she published two bilingual poetry anthologies, promoted by the Writers Capital Foundation through their International Editions division, with English translations by Prof. PreethNambier.
An eclectic and versatile artist, she is affirmed in various artistic disciplines, and her paintings are presented with absolute originality.
“Her journey is one through fantasy and metaphysical, dream-like abstraction, outside of real time and space, exploring the intricacies of dramatizing thought forms assembled in the surrounding collective unconscious: a human dimension, in its most hidden aspects and rich with emotional participation, the most fantastic and imaginative,” describes Alfredo Pasolino.
“Her works communicate through a non-verbal language, similar to a fluid that infiltrates and infuses in the observer the ability to make informed choices. The genuineness of her art is undisputed, not marred by oppressive strokes or heavy colors. In every case, Silla knows where she can afford to emphasize or act lightly to blend with wisdom. Her touch is precise in the act of creation; the brush comes to life, the arm and hand travel confidently while the eyes, as if in a trance, choose the shades of colors and guide the selection of those to mix to achieve the appropriate gradations for the work in progress. Symbols and visual effects emerge from the work in question, which can be individually interpreted and differ from one observer to another. Never try to explain art, as it would be intrusive; a work is admired in its uniqueness and is appreciated only when it captures the gaze of the interested person. At that moment, it becomes pleasantly beautiful and ascends to the Olympus of Masterpieces,” writes Lidia Peritore.
